Tanner Quirk ‘29
Tanner is a first-year at Harvard College, planning to concentrate in English with a secondary in Theater, Dance & Media. Tanner grew up in New York City where he trained at the School of American Ballet for eleven years, graduating from the advanced division in 2025. At SAB and for New York City Ballet, Tanner performed in works by choreographers such as George Balanchine, Christopher Wheeldon, and Caili Quan. Additionally, Tanner danced on Broadway during his freshman and sophomore years of high school in the revival of "The Music Man" starring Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster. He was an original Broadway cast child ensemble member and then a swing, before becoming an adult ensemble member. Tanner also attended multiple summer intensives throughout his high school years: Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Miami City Ballet. He is thrilled to be joining the Harvard Ballet Company!
