Nan Venderbush ‘24
Nan Venderbush (they/she) is a second year psychology major at Northeastern University with a minor in women’s, gender, and sexuality studies. They grew up in New York City and trained at the School of American Ballet from the age of seven to eighteen where she performed in several works with the New York City Ballet, The New York Choreographic Institute, and in the annual SAB Workshop including George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, La Source, Western Symphony, Bourree Fantasque, and more. Nan spent summers training at Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Carolina Ballet, and Ballet Academy East. After their training, Nan joined the Richmond Ballet in Richmond, VA for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons where they danced in company performances including The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. Outside of HBC, she is on the board of Northeastern University’s Sexual Health, Advocacy, Resources, and Education club, and has been involved in NUDANCO, NUHillel, and Psyclub.
This is Nan’s second semester with Harvard Ballet Company, and she is very excited to be performing with the company in person this fall.
