Melissa Harvey ‘27

Melissa Harvey is a Third Year at Northeastern University studying Biology with a law and public policy minor on the Pre- Physician Assistant track. From Rochester, New York, Melissa began her training at a local competition studio at age 3. She discovered her love for ballet when attending Draper Center For Dance Education's Summer Program in 2019. In 2020, she officially joined the Draper school in their professional training program under artistic director Jamey Leverett. During this time, she attended various competitions and participated in performances with Rochester City Ballet. Melissa has attended several intensives, such at the Cincinnati Ballet Summer Intensive, BodyTraffic Winter Intensive, and the Complexions Ballet Winter Intensive in NYC. Outside of dancing, Melissa likes to do yoga, bake, and hike. She is so excited to keep dancing alongside such talented people!
