Kathryn Chen ‘26
Kathryn is a senior at Northeastern University studying Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in Data Science. She grew up training at New Jersey Ballet School under the direction of Carolyn Clark and Maria Kowroski. During her time at the school, she joined the junior company and was invited to perform alongside the New Jersey Ballet Company in various ballets, including Don Quixote, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. In the company's production of the Nutcracker, she performed the lead student role of Clara, as well as a number of other pre-professional roles. She attended summer programs at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Philadelphia Ballet. Outside of dance, Kathryn spends her time at workout classes, conducting research at Northeastern's Center for Translational NeuroImaging, and exploring new spots around Boston with friends. She loves HBC and is excited to continue dancing!
