Cristina Baron ‘29

Cristina is a freshman at Harvard College where she is studying Molecular and Cellular Biology on the pre-medical track, with a contemplated secondary in Theater, Dance & Media. She began training at the American Ballet Theatre Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School in New York City at the age of seven. During her seven years training at ABT, she performed in The Sleeping Beauty, Company gala productions, and multiple JKO School performances, and attended American Ballet Theatre, Kaatsbaan, and Bolshoi Ballet Academy summer intensive programs. Prior to coming to Harvard, she attended St. Paul's School in Concord, NH, where she was a member of the St. Paul's School Ballet Company for all four years under Director of Dance Kate Lydon. There, she performed in pieces by guest choreographers including Carlos Lopez, Jessica Lang, and Duncan Cooper, among others, performed alongside acclaimed cellist Yo-Yo Ma, and choreographed an opera by Grammy-Nominated composer Nicholas White and several original pieces. She also became an ABT National Training Curriculum Certified Teacher in Summer 2023. Cristina looks forward to her first year dancing with the Harvard Ballet Company!
