Alana-Kaye Morgan ‘29
Alana-Kaye Morgan (affectionately called Alana) is a freshman at Tufts University, majoring in biochemistry and hoping to minor in economics. Alana is a multidisciplinary dancer, which she largely credits to her upbringing in Kingston, Jamaica, which gave her the opportunity to explore dance forms spanning from ballet to dancehall to traditional Jamaican folk dances.
Before joining the HBC, Alana was a part of the St. Paul's School Ballet Company, where she served as co-captain. During her tenure at the St. Paul's School Ballet Company, Alana performed a myriad of classical ballets, some of her favorites being the Kingdom of the Shades from La Bayadère, Dance of the Wilis from Giselle, and her first soloist role, the Nutcracker's Peacock.Alana has also learned and performed original works by Carlos Lopez, Rosalynde LeBlanc, Amy Hall Garner, and Jessica Lang.
