Nina Montalbano ‘23

Nina Montalbano is a first year student at Harvard, and is planning to concentrate in Applied Mathematics. She is from Lake Bluff, Illinois - a northern suburb of Chicago - and began dancing all styles at the age of three at Jenny’s Dance Centre in her hometown. At the age of thirteen, she began dedicated ballet training as a member of the Ballet Chicago Studio Company. Under the artistic direction of Daniel Duell and Patricia Blair, she performed numerous works choreographed by George Balanchine, including Serenade, Stars and Stripes, Swan Lake, Concerto Barocco, Square Dance, Who Cares?, and the Nutcracker. She also attended summer intensive programs at Pacific Northwest Ballet, the School of American Ballet, and Boston Ballet. She is very much looking forward to being a part of the Harvard Ballet Company!
