Lia Kaynor

Lia Kaynor (she/her/hers) is thrilled to serve as the grad board's Events Coordinator. She grew up twirling through her dad's contradances, studying ballet at the Boston Ballet School, and playing classical piano at New England Conservatory. At Harvard she joined the Harvard Ballet Company, the Harvard-Radcliffe Modern Dance Company, and ECHO peer counselors. With HBC she was fortunate enough to serve many performance and leadership roles including choreographer, tech crew, and co-director. One her favorite memories from HBC was her first time choreographing for HBC in the wolf scene of The Jungle Book. Since graduating in 2017 with a degree in Psychology and secondary in Classics, she has stayed involved with the company as an alumni choreographer. Now she is a medical student at Tufts, hotline crisis counselor, and aspirational baker. Ask her about medicine, body image, blending arts and sciences, mindfulness/ meditation/ self-care, or the connection between music and dance.
