Laura Sky Herman '19

Laura Sky is from Miami, Florida and started training when she was 8 years old.  Her first professional ballet experience was with the Miami City Ballet as Marie (Clara), a part she held for three years.  She has studied with the American Ballet Theater in NYC, the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow, Russia, and the iconic Gelsey Kirkland.  She placed in the top 15 at the ADC International Ballet Competition in both classical ballet and contemporary and won numerous scholarships.  Her favorite roles have been the Sugar Plum Fairy with Ft. Lauderdale Ballet Classique, Dew Drop with Kirova Ballet, and a corp de ballet member with the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami.  She would like to thank her teachers German Dager and Magda Aunon for their endless support and love. In her spare time, she eats poptarts and watches Netflix.  Laura Sky is so excited and honored to be a member of the Harvard Ballet Company!
