Jennifer Wang '19

Jennifer Wang is a senior concentrating in economics. Originally from Palo Alto, California, she trained at City Ballet School - San Francisco under artistic director Galina Alexandrova. There, she performed several leading roles, including Odette and Odile in Swan Lake, Kitri in Don Quixote, and Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. In addition, Jennifer has received first place in the Pas de Deux & Ensembles Category at the YAGP Regional Semi-Finals in San Francisco and in the Senior Classical Dance Category at the Semi-Finals in San Diego. From this performance, she received an invitation and scholarship to the XII Moscow International Ballet Competition in Moscow, Russia. After attending her first semester at Harvard, she spent the rest of the 2015 season dancing in Chicago with the Joffrey Ballet. She is more excited than ever to once again be a member of Harvard Ballet Company.
