Emily Hogan '19
Emily is a junior studying advertising at Boston University’s College of Communication. She is a true Californian, growing up in both Los Angeles and San Francisco. At the age of five, she began her ballet training at the Rozann-Zimmerman Ballet Center in Chatsworth, California under the artistic direction of Patrick Frantz and Patricia Davis Raffy. When her family moved to San Francisco, she continued her training at the San Francisco Ballet School under Lola de Avila and Patrick Armand. In order to balance a full time school schedule, she then joined the Academy of Ballet San Francisco under Richard Gibson and Zory Karah. She attended summer programs at the American Ballet Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and the Nutmeg Conservatory, as well as master classes with Alonzo King Lines. She is grateful to be a part of the HBC family and continue dancing!
