Alaisha Sharma '20

Alaisha Sharma is a junior considering a concentration in Computer Science. She was born and raised in Mountain View, California and has been dancing since she was four years old. During her time at Western Ballet, Alaisha participated in numerous performances featuring classical and neo-classical work, including The Nutcracker, Le Corsaire, Coppelia, Snow White, and Serenade. She has had the honor of dancing lead roles such as Clara in The Nutcracker and the Evil Queen in Snow White. Through her high school's dance program, Alaisha has also explored other dance styles, including jazz, modern, and hip hop, and choreographed several contemporary pieces. Apart from dance, Alaisha enjoys music and martial arts, fantasy literature and baking. This fall will be her first time performing with HBC. She is very happy for the opportunity to continue dancing at Harvard and eventually hopes to choreograph for HBC!
