Abbey Pan ‘22
Abbey is a sophomore at Harvard University from Atlanta, GA. She began training in classical ballet at the age of six and later studied contemporary dance as well at Morning Star Dance Academy of Atlanta. There, she performed leading roles in various ballets, including Paquita, Sleeping Beauty, and the Dying Swan. Abbey has competed in several international ballet competitions, such as the Beijing International Ballet Invitational and the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), where she had opportunity to perform at New York City’s Lincoln Center for the Final Round and the “Stars of Today Meets of the Stars of Tomorrow” Gala. In addition to competing, she has been awarded scholarships to attend the professional training programs at the Princess Grace Academy of Classical Dance in Monte Carlo, Canada’s National Ballet, and the English National Ballet School in London. Abbey is beyond excited to begin her journey at Harvard with the members of the Harvard Ballet Company and looks forward to sharing the stage with them!
